1***** MODIFICATIONS
2To use a 5600 as a slave device it has to somewhat modified.
3This has to be done on a 5600 (art no 16144 R2) to automatically set it to parallel port boot mode:
4
51)
6Close to the LPT1 connector there are two resistors, between the "Pulse" inductor and
7the LS245. The one closest to the LS245 is a 4k7 pull up (R105). Remove it.
8
92)
10Between the other "Pulse" inductor and Etrax there is a black 5-pin inverter
11(D15). Short connectors 2 and 3 with a solder blob.

14***** PINOUT
15To use this driver use cables connected like this:
16DSUB25-Male DSUB25Male
17
181	10
192-9	2-9
2010 1
2111	14
2212	18
2313	NC
2414	11
2515	NC
2616	NC
2717	NC
2818	12
2919	NC
3020-25	20-25
31
32Thus the cables are symmetrical with most cables straight through,
33some crossed (1-10, 11-14 and 12-18)
34and some Not connected (NC 13,15,16,17 and 19).
35

37******* Only for reference
38To ease the use of flat-cable connectors, here are the notes of wich wires to cross and cut with pin 1 being cable 1:
